RIDEST

Terms of Use

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Scope and provider

These terms govern the use of the RIDEST platform, operated by Nico Mutert, Blankenburger Straße 10, 49565 Bramsche, Germany ("RIDEST", "we"). They apply to Artists, Managers/Bookers and Events ("users"). Different terms of the user do not apply unless we agree in writing.

2. Service

RIDEST offers Artist profiles, public press kits, a booking calendar, booking requests, contacts, file storage and notifications. RIDEST only provides the tools. Contracts between Artists, Managers and Events (e.g. for a gig) are made directly between them; RIDEST is not a party to them and does not guarantee bookings.

The service is currently a Closed Alpha for selected members. It is free of charge and offered without a guarantee of availability. Features may change, be unavailable or contain errors, and data may be lost despite our care. Please keep your own copy of important documents. We may end the Closed Alpha or an alpha access at any time; in that case we will inform you in good time and you can export or save your content beforehand where the app allows it.

3. Account

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a contract.
  • Give correct information, keep your login data secret and tell us if you suspect misuse. Use of an account by several people is not allowed unless the plan includes seats.
  • You may delete your account at any time in My Account.

4. Your content

  • You remain owner of everything you upload or enter ("content"). You grant RIDEST the non-exclusive, worldwide right to store, display and process it as needed to provide the service, e.g. to show your public press kit, scale images and share content with the people you invite. This right ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups kept for a short, limited time.
  • You promise that you have all necessary rights (copyright, image and personality rights, music and licence rights) and, for data of other people, a legal basis to share it, and that your content is not unlawful (e.g. insulting, discriminating, infringing rights, malware or spam).
  • You indemnify RIDEST against claims of third parties arising from your content to the extent you are responsible for the violation.
  • We may remove content or restrict accounts if there is a legal violation or a justified suspicion, after notice where possible. Users can report content as described in the Imprint (Digital Services Act). We will tell you the reason for a restriction and how to object.

5. Plans and prices

During the Closed Alpha all features that are open to you are free of charge. Paid plans may be introduced later. Before you can order a paid plan, the price, scope, billing period, payment methods, renewal and termination rules are shown to you on the Pricing page and in the order process, and they only apply if you order and confirm them there. For consumers, prices include statutory VAT. Nothing in the Closed Alpha obliges you to buy a paid plan or entitles you to a certain plan later. A right of withdrawal for consumers is explained here.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, security work and events outside our control can cause interruptions.

7. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties (duties whose fulfilment makes proper performance possible and on which you can regularly rely), limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Any further liability is excluded. Liability under mandatory law remains unaffected. Because the Closed Alpha is provided free of charge, we are liable there only for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health, to the extent the law allows. The loss of data is limited to the amount that would have occurred if you had made regular backup copies.

8. Changes of these terms and of the service

We may change these terms for valid reasons (e.g. legal changes, new features) with at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. If you do not object within this period, the change applies; we point this out in the notice. You can then terminate your account.

9. Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods; for consumers this applies only to the extent that mandatory consumer protection law of their country of residence is not withdrawn. If you are a merchant, the place of jurisdiction is our registered office. Should a provision be invalid, the rest remains in force.
